— The goal is quite simple for Bommarito — assist athletes to maximize their physical talents.

This week at his training facilities you will find a number of NFL players, including former Miami Hurricanes star Frank Gore, preparing to carry the running game for the San Francisco 49ers. You will also find former Dolphins wide receiver Wes Welker doing high intensity, low volume training focused on maintaining conditioning and joint integrity as he prepares for training camp with the Denver Broncos. Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller and defensive end Olivier Vernon are also there making sure they will be prepared for the rigors of a tough NFL season.

“We do a combination of everything,” said Bommarito, whose company has trained more than 700 NFL players. “We like to think of ourselves as the one-stop shop for everything any athlete will need at any level.”

With about 75 employees at both locations, BPS helps athletes with training in footwork, strength endurance, power and agility movement. The center also offers nutritional guidance from a private chef, massage therapy, Pilates and even MMA training.
